Drew Hernandez launched his comedy career in 2015 by creating military satire videos on social media under the brand A Combat Veteran, amassing over 100 million views yearly. In 2023, he took his humor to the stage with the Friendly Fire Comedy Tour, quickly gaining popularity within the veteran and Latino communities across Texas, where he packed every room By 2024, Drew had taken his act nationwide with the Discharged tour, collaborating with the VFW on a mission to attract younger service members to local posts. His efforts brought thousands of supporters to VFW events and earned him headline coverage in multiple states.
